Guide to Dressing for your next interview

Clothing and appearance have a strong influence on confidence when interviewing. There is not a one size fits all dress code for interviews. The important thing to remember is you want to wear something that is comfortable and makes you feel good about yourself. Today many companies are working to create a diverse and inclusive environment for employees.

If you are not sure what to wear start by researching the company. Do they wear business professional attire or business casual? If everyone is dressed in a suit you’ll want to make sure you make arrive polished and clean. The same goes for if you have done your research and the company dress code appears to be jeans and a collared shirt, then you may consider dressing similar for your interview. Gender-neutral clothing is also a good choice of attire. Regardless of your gender, you can incorporate clothing items like slacks into any wardrobe.
