Once upon a time in interviewland
Every interview typically starts with the question, "So tell me about yourself." At that moment in time, that can be the hardest question you may ever answer. So that you have a formulated thought and story to tell, practice writing it down. When you tell your story, think through your top accomplishments. This can include sports, past work, and academic achievements. Be prepared to describe how your mindset developed during a challenging time and how you grew from the experience.
When citing your examples include answers to the following: who, what, where, when, why, and how. Expand on these in your statement to create a story that reflects you and your characteristics. Work to bridge the gap between your past work experience and the role you are applying for. Highlight the skills you have built and how they now tie into your personality.
