The Collegiate Sales Certification (CSC) is a 3 module sales course

Created by Vendition for Collegiate Sales Society, the Collegiate Sales Certification is designed for students interested in learning about sales. The course allows students to gain real-world experience through modules 2 and 3 and seeks to prepare them for jobs & internships. After completing all modules, students will be awarded a LinkedIn badge.

CSC Live is back! Join Vendition CEO, James Nielsen to become sales certified. Students will attend a series of three, 75-minute sessions. To receive your certification you must complete each module.

ABOUT THE MODULES

Module 1

Vendition's Sales Bootcamp

In the first module of the CSC, you’ll take the Vendition’s Sales Bootcamp.  In the Bootcamp, we’ll cover the fundamentals of Sales Development including software tools used in the role, Ideal Customer Profiles, Buyer Personas, Prospecting, Cold Calling, Cold Emailing, Inbound & Outbound Leads, Objection Handling, Professionalism in the Workplace, and How to Earn a Job.  Finally, you’ll do a cold email and voicemail case study.

Module 2

Salesforce

In module 2, you'll learn all about Salesforce.  Salesforce is the market share leader in the Customer Relationship Management world.  Salesforce and CRMs in general are built to track and analyze interactions with current and future customers.  In this module, you'll learn about some of the most important objects in Salesforce including leads, opportunities, contacts, and accounts, and how they all relate to each other.  Once you learn the fundamentals, be able to use a real Salesforce account and do a demo with a CSC proctor.  At the end of the module you'll understand:

  • Leads, Contacts, Opportunities, and Accounts and how they relate to each other 
  • How to Create new leads
  • How to Convert leads to contacts, opportunities, and accounts
  • How to Log calls
  • How to Create new tasks

Module 3

Cold Calling Fellowship 

It’s time to learn by doing!  In this module, you’ll practice the day-to-day of an SDR and make some real-life cold calls.  After watching some CSC-specific cold calling material, we’ll get you set up to make some cold calls.  Don’t worry, it’s a lot easier than you think!  While making your calls, you’ll also record the results in your very own CRM.

Collegiate sales certification and the modules

Each module can be done individually, but students are required to complete all 3 modules to earn the CSC. The course can be completed all in 1 quarter or spread out over multiple quarters. View the CSC syllabus here
